Ministries
Children
Our goal is to share Christ's love with your child so He can win their
hearts at a young age. Our desire is to influence your child's heart to love and serve Jesus Christ. Exposure
to God's Word, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit are the foundation elements your child will be learning and
opportunities to practice loving others in the body of Christ are key components of this ministry. During the
10:00 worship service, children may participate in classrooms designed to meet their growing interests, level
of activities and learning. Nursery: Location - Main Floor.
Toddlers: Children ranging in age from 18-36 months
Location - Main Floor
Preschool: Children 3-5 years of age. Location - Lower Level.
Expedition Kids! for
students in grade levels 1-5. Location - Lower Level.
YouthOur youth ministries meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm.
Youth may also join the Sunday adult service at 10:00am for worship and then are excused to their own gathering in the
Portal café during the message. A team of supportive adults are also involved in our youth ministries. We average from
20 to 40 students a week and newcomers will receive a warm welcome.
Wednesdays nights vary from week to week including
an activities night the first Wednesday of every month. Other nights may include worship, teaching, discussion or snacks
and fellowship.
Sundays typically consist of an in-depth discussion-style Bible study where students will learn how
the Bible applies to them today.
We also feature special events throughout the year like the
Cultivation Generation Conference this August. A memorable and impacting event for all who attend.
WomenCommunity. Passion. Service
We seek to create
an atmosphere where women of all ages and backgrounds can experience genuine, growing relationships with God and
each other. We encourage women to live out their passions and pursue their God given purposes. We desire to cultivate a servant
heart for our families, our church body, our local community and missions. We create opportunities
through small groups, women's gatherings, retreats, conferences, outreaches, mentoring, and personal
relationships. Please join us on facebook.
Men
Men must step up, take risks, and get connected!
Men are all in pursuit of the same thing. To matter, to make a difference… to love and be loved. How can any of those
things happen alone? Men who are after the heart of God and interested in their destiny in God’s plan and His Kingdom
have a unique opportunity each week to go after exactly that; more of God, and the discovery of greater purpose for
their lives. Being in a safe place where you can be transparent, be known, and know others is what you’ll find each
Tuesday night at 7pm at the Portal. Come and fellowship, come grow, come be challenged, come worship, come fight for
your heart and find yourself in the adventure of His amazing Kingdom. Why hold back! - Not meeting temporarily.
Prayer Ministry Team
We believe that as members of Vancouver Vineyard we are called to train,
equip, and release people to pray for others in everyday, real life situations. Praying for others is a gift of yourself to others and builds
fellowship. It is a humbling, loving service that leads someone who is suffering into a meaningful relationship with God. For the person praying,
it opens up doors of opportunity to build a more intimate and stronger relationship with God. Prayer supports, strengthens, restores and heals
our needs. When our emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual needs have been fulfilled we feel a wholeness that allows us to give and serve.
For the person praying, the more you pray, the more you witness and feel the presence of our Father’s Love. Our church provides an annual
training opportunity for those who feel called to pray for others. It is called “Can I pray for you right now?”
Personal Prayer Ministry
Personal Prayer Ministry is about you. It is an opportunity
to have a team of 2 to 3 believers pray with you privately for any need or request you may have. They are not professional, or licensed counselors
or therapists. They are volunteers who have been trained to listen, encourage, support, pray, identify spiritual bondages and are committed to seeing
people experience freedom and spiritual wholeness in their lives. We believe you are coming to us because you are at a point in your life where you
are ready to deal with the issues that have kept you from becoming all that God wants you to be. This ministry is God directed prayer. Our
goal is to provide a safe, comfortable highly confidential setting in which to pray and believe God will meet you in your time of need.
PPM is a short term ministry support, in which we allow the Holy Spirit to direct the number of sessions; typically meeting 1 to 4 times.
Meetings are usually held at the church.
ONE LIFEIs a non-profit charitable community service organization that serves at risk youth, individuals
and families in Clark County Washington. We believe it's about social justice, ending hunger, providing education, and seeing every person
treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. We want to be known as a place that really cares about the individual. Where we hear
each person's story and we listen more than talk. An organization where we see past the exterior and the circumstances in people's lives,
but instead focus on the potential destiny. As Mother Teresa put it "We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless.
The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty". Our greatest joy is to see lives transformed out of poverty
by compassion, acceptance, respect, service and love.
