Worship Ministry Leader
We are seeking a worship leader who senses a genuine calling to pastoral ministry in the local church and who desires to cultivate a worship culture that leads people into the presence of God, forms disciples of Jesus, and raises up new leaders.
This role may initially be hired under the title Worship Ministry Leader. Over time, and through the discernment process outlined in Vancouver Vineyard bylaws, the individual may be recognized and affirmed as a Worship Pastor by the church.
The Worship Ministry Leader will cultivate and lead a healthy, Spirit-filled worship culture at Vancouver Vineyard Church. This role includes leading Sunday worship, developing worship teams, integrating worship into the broader leadership life of the church, and creating spaces beyond Sunday where our community can encounter the presence of God. The Worship Ministry Leader holds a pastoral role and responsibility in the church, and must therefore be spiritually mature, emotionally healthy, and capable of building teams and shaping culture.
This position will begin as a part-time role with a minimum expectation of 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow toward 30 hours as the ministry develops and resources allow. Salary to be determined based on experience and scope. At this time, benefits are limited to access to the Pastoral Care Fund for mental, emotional, and spiritual health support.
